The applicant must obtain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3 out of 5. Second: Controls of specialization in the College of Arts: Admission is by differentiation based on grade point average and the availability of seats. English Language Department requirements: (Earning C rating and above in English Language Course 1 and English language Course 2) Year descriptionFirst year During this first year the students will study a broad range of subjects that will introduce them to various disciplines in the realm of the arts and humanities. This exposure will help them make an informed decision on what academic path they wish to pursue in the following years. They will earn 36 credits during this first year. Second Year The second year courses include the following topics: fundamentals of information organization, information sources, information services and principles of database information retrieval. Third year The curriculum for this year will cover the following subjects: education technologies, principles of education and management of learning resource centers. Fourth Year In this final year of the degree program the students will take advanced courses on a variety of subjects including: website management as it relates to libraries, production and use of teaching aids, internet information facilities as well as an opportunity to get experience in this discipline.
