Course Main Objective
This course aims to define the importance of management functions for developing the policies and procedures related to information institutions, preparing the budget. It further deals with basics of training staff, elements of total quality and performance assessment as well as necessary understanding of library standards and ability to analyze them.

- Concept and development of standards and efforts of the professional authorities in issuing standards in libraries and information centers.
- Standards governing library performance and the Saudi centers for archive and records.
