Course Main Objective
This course aims to identify the basic terms and elements of scientific research and how to propose ideas and brainstorming related thereto and to write down an integrated research project. It further explains principles of scientific analysis and the approaches and tools of gathering information using the IT.

- 1.1 Explain graduation research skills: its characteristics, aims, steps and the scientific analysis of research projects.
2. Skills - 2.1 Differentiate among reference citation styles in the graduation project.
- 2.2 Use communication and information technology in presenting research projects.

- 3.1 Proceed to find out solutions for research problems within individual and collective situations.
Course Content:
- Basic concepts of scientific research (its concept, characteristics, aims, identifying steps of scientific research), research innovation in field of library and information.
- Discussing research project proposals.
- Literature review about the selected topic.
- Set elements of the project and the approach used to carry out the project.
- The research project sampling strategy and tools of collecting data.
- Stage of data collection and analysis.
- Final drafting, reference list and proofreading.
- Presentation and discussion of students’ projects.
- Presentation of submitted research posters
- Presentation and discussion of the projects by the mandated academic committee.
