About the initiative
The Professional Certification Support Initiative "Mohtarif" comes within the framework of the University’s, represented by the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs, endeavor to enhance academic and professional excellence for students and graduates and enable them to compete locally and internationally, in line with the requirements of the job market.
Objectives of "Mohtarif" Initiative
- Rais the employment rate of University graduates within 6-12 months of graduation.
- Rais the level of professional competence: by encouraging, motivating and supporting students to obtain accredited professional certificates to develop their skills and expertise in specialized fields required in the job market.
- Increase competitiveness in the job market: Professional certificates contribute to the preparation of a competing graduate globally, as they are a competitive advantage that helps graduates to excel in front of employers, which improves their career opportunities.

Sub-initiatives
Three sub-initiatives are associated with the initiative:
- Training Students on Professional Exams: Specialized training programs for professional certificates.
- Exempting students from an academic course upon receiving an accredited professional certificate.
- Excellence reward for students with accredited professional certificates.
Expected Outcomes of the Initiative
- Increase students' professional certification rates.
- Enhance students' competence and applied skills and thereby enhance students' career readiness.
- Align the University's outcomes with the requirements of the job market.
- Promote communication between the University and various professional organizations, thus enhancing partnerships with professional organizations and employers.
