The Department of Dermatology of College of Medicine, University of Dammam is committed to education, care of patients with skin, hair, nail and mycosal diseases, and research. In addition to the teaching of undergraduate students, the department is actively involved in Postgraduate dermatology training program of Saudi Board and Arab Board of Dermatology & Venereology, and training of Primary healthcare residents and other residents from other training program.

The department offers investigation, diagnosis and treatment of patients with dermatological diseases and act as a referral center for patients from other healthcare facilities.

The department has research activities involving clinical studies of diseases of regional and international interest and basic research. And also the staff has published articles in local, regional and international journals.

The department staffed includes academic staffs (Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Demonstrators) and clinical staffs (Consultants, Specialists, Senior Registrars and Trainee residents).

Hours of Service Provision

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday to Thursday running clinics.
On call coverage for the ER dermatology patient and inpatient consultation.
