The Alumni and Professional Development Unit is part of the Alumni and Professional Development Center, and works to achieve an important goal to prepare alumni for professional life in a way consistent with the requirements of the labor market. The Unit's mission aims at qualifying alumni and preparing them to integrate into the labor market, providing them with support and guidance to enable them to benefit from appropriate career opportunities.  

In addition, the Unit promotes intimate and sustainable communication between the alumni and the university, as it aims to build a strong and sustainable relationship with the alumni by providing them with continuous assistance and support in their career path. 

The Unit finds it important to provide alumni services in a transparent manner and in full compliance with the rules of confidentiality and integrity. It operates on the principles of transparency and is keen to provide appropriate support and advice to those seeking its services. The Unit guarantees equal opportunities for all service seekers, without discrimination or preference.

To contribute to the preparation and development of the college alumni in a way that allows them to effectively meet the requirements of their work lives and to establish and develop sustainable relationships between the college, the university, and its alumni.

  1. Evaluate the quality of education: The Alumni Unit helps in evaluating the quality of education provided by the institution. By analyzing the Unit’s data, the college can determine the extent to which its educational goals are being achieved and improve educational programs to meet students' needs. 
  2. Improve educational programs: The Unit’s data can be used to determine the strengths and weaknesses of educational programs. The college can analyze this data and develop educational programs that meet the needs of students and the requirements of the labor market.

This Unit is works as a bridge between the university and the professional world, as it provides support and guidance to the alumni to achieve their professional success and develop their skills. The Unit performs multiple roles to achieve its goals, including: 

  1. Provide career counseling: The Unit provides career counseling to alumni, helping them determine their career goals and guiding them in choosing appropriate jobs according to their qualifications and interests. 
  2. Organize job fairs: The Unit organizes job fairs to offer direct communication opportunities between alumni and employers, and to help them obtain suitable job opportunities. 
  3. Organize training courses: The Unit organizes training courses and workshops to develop alumni’s skills and to improve their personal and professional abilities, such as communication, leadership, and time management skills. 
  4. Build a network of professional relationships: The Unit helps alumni to build a network of professional relationships, as it provides them with opportunities to communicate with former alumni, employers, and institutions working in various professional fields.

  2. Training and workshops: The Unit organizes training courses and workshops aimed at developing alumni’s skills and improving their abilities in specific fields. These opportunities are provided to alumni to enhance their chances of getting a job and achieving professional success. 
  3. Career support: The Unit provides career support to new alumni by providing job opportunities and vocational training, and facilitating communication with employers and local and international companies. 
  4. Social networks: The Unit works to provide opportunities for alumni to communicate and get to know other alumni in similar professional fields, through conferences, events, and virtual communities. 

Strengthening Communication between Alumni and the Alumni Unit

Effective communication between alumni and the Alumni Unit is essential to achieve many benefits, such as providing job and training opportunities, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and enhancing belonging and loyalty to the educational institution. Communication between graduates and the graduate unit is through the following: 

  1. Create an electronic platform: An electronic platform can be created and made available to alumni and the alumni unit to communicate and exchange information and opportunities. Alumni can update their personal and professional information, search for job and training opportunities, and the Alumni Unit can post new news and opportunities. 
  2. Organize events and seminars: The Unit can organize events and seminars that bring together alumni, enhance communication and exchange of knowledge and experiences. These events can be an opportunity for alumni to get to know each other and expand their professional network. 
  3. Create a database for graduates: The unit can create a database containing alumni’s information updated periodically. Current alumni and recent alumni can view this information and connect with former alumni to benefit from their experience and obtain support and guidance.  

Strategies to Enhance Communication between Alumni and Faculty Members 

  1. Create social networks: Social networks can be created for alumni and faculty members, such as pages on social networking sites or platforms for alumni. These networks can be a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge, providing job opportunities, and enhancing belonging and loyalty to the educational institution. 
  2. Organize events and activities: Events and activities can be organized that bring together alumni and faculty members, such as conferences, workshops, or networking meetings. These events can be an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, provide job opportunities, and strengthen personal relationships between alumni and faculty members. 
  3.
