Introduction
The College of Applied Medical Sciences was established in 1415 AH corresponding to 1994 AD, after converting the Department of Laboratory Technology at the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences into a College of Applied Medical Sciences. In 1420 AH corresponding to 1999 AD, it was approved to establish the departments and specializations of the college, in order to keep pace with developments in the field of medical care and qualify specialized cadres in various therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitative fields.
Currently, the college offers a number of academic programs that meet the needs of the society and labor market, including seven Bachelor's degree programs in (Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Respiratory Care, Physiotherapy, Radiological Sciences, Clinical Nutrition, Cardiac Technology, and Emergency Medical Care), four Master's degree programs in (Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Physiotherapy, Radiological Sciences, Clinical Nutrition) and one Doctoral degree program in (Physiotherapy).
