Year description Students are awarded with a master’s degree in Safety Engineering upon successful completion of all the requirements in the curriculum of the program and fulfilling all other requirements for graduation. A student should complete 42 credit hours, i.e., 24 credit hours for core courses in the first year, 12 credit hours for elective courses and 6 credit hours for an engineering project in the second year to be awarded M.Eng. in Safety Engineering. Exit AwardStudent can graduate early without completing their master's degree. If a student chooses to terminate their studies late in their program, they will be allowed to do so provided they have completed at least 24 credit hours for core courses in the first year, which is sufficient to be granted Higher Diploma in Safety Engineering.
