Introduction

The College of Education is one of the most prestigious faculties at Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University. The college was established as a science and mathematics center affiliated with the Ministry of Education in the year 1396/1397 AH. The following year, the center was transitioned into an intermediate college before becoming the Teachers College in Dammam in 1409 AH. In 1428 AH, the college was incorporated into King Faisal University and renamed the College of Education. Following a royal decree establishing the University of Dammam in 1430 AH, the College of Education became an integral part of the university. Two years later, the female section was established at the college. In 1438 AH, a further Royal Decree was issued to rename the university to Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University.

Today, the college offers pre-bachelor's diplomas, bachelor's degrees, post-bachelor's diplomas, and master's degrees.

To prepare, qualify, and train educational professionals through specialized programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, contributing to solving educational challenges through research and studies, while striving to engage in community partnerships and provide educational consultations.
