The program is structured to cover three phases including Basic Sciences, Preclinical and Clinical skills integrated within the year levels
In this year students will be introduced to Medical and Dental Basic Science courses, Dental Morphology and a brief introduction to Literature in Dentistry. Students will also be introduced to Dental Skills through the Pre-Clinical Restorative Dentistry Course.
In this year students will spend most of the time in the Pre-Clinical Training in all fields of dentistry. As well as, an Introduction to Diagnostic Clinical Courses including Oral Diagnosis, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and Clinical Restorative Clinic.
In this year students fully integrate in the Comprehensive Clinical Courses in all dental specialties and Introduction to Scientific Research with Oral epidemiology and Biostatistics courses.
In this year students will engage in a group practice model in the Comprehensive CareDentistry Clinic treating patients of all ages including children, adults and geriatric patients, with introductory to Advanced Clinical Technologies and Digital Dentistry.
In this year, students will continue in group practice model in the Comprehensive Care Dentistry Clinic as well as Comprehensive Pediatric Clinic, Special Needs and Orthodontic Care. During this final year, every student will participate in a research project before graduating.
Students will participate in community service activities by participating in curricular and extra-curricular events throughout all study years.
