1. Attending Conferences and Symposia
It is submitted through the system of conferences and seminars.

▪ External Conferences
Faculty members (Saudis) should obtain the approval of the Minister of Education and Higher Education to attend or participate in external conferences..
▪ Submission Protocol:
- Opening a permanent account for a faculty member to be able to register
- Activation of the account by the head of the faculty member's department
- Submission of a conference attendance request by the member
- Department head's recommendation
- College Dean's Recommendation
- The endorsement of the university’s president
- The approval of the Minister of Education
- After attending, a T3 scientific mission report is prepared and sent to the Vice President of the University for Scientific Research and Innovation for Postgraduate Studies, in preparation for sending it to the Ministry of Higher Education.
▪ Internal Conferences
The faculty members (Saudis) should obtain the endorsement the Vice President for Scientific Research and Innovation.
Submission Protocol:
- A letter shall be submitted by the dean of the college to request the member’s participation, accompanied by the recommendation of the college council and the department council, and the application of the nomination conditions to the member applying to the conference
.
2. Visiting Professor Request

▪ External Professor
The departments of the university’s colleges and the supporting deanships should obtain the endorsement of the President of the University and the approval of the Minister of Education to request a visiting professor.
▪ Submission Protocol:
- Submit a visiting professor request by the department head, along with the visiting professor’s tasks, and send it to the dean of the college
- College Dean's Recommendation
- The endorsement of President of the University
- The approval of the Minister of Education
- Internal Professor
The faculty members (Saudis) should obtain the endorsement of the Vice President for Scientific Research and Innovation.
▪ Submission Protocol:
A letter shall be submitted by the dean of the college to request hosting a visitor from within the Kingdom, together with a form for hosting a visitor from within the Kingdom.
