Vision

Create an environment to nurture student talents, spread theatrical culture, and show the civilized and cognitive role of this type of performing arts in line with Vision 2030.

Mission

Enhancing the role of the university theater by refining students' talents and as a platform that gives the student expression and upgrading his aesthetic and intellectual taste in line with the vision of the deanship and the university.

Objectives

• Holding training workshops in various elements of theatrical performance and dramatic arts.
• Producing and presenting theatrical and artistic shows.
• Providing an academic environment that incubates students' creative theatrical talents.

Important Activities of the Club

In line with the goals of the club, which seeks to produce theatrical and artistic performances that express the opinions and positions of students towards the issues that concern them, and to promote educational and national values, the club produces a number of works of art every semester.

•  Production of theatrical performances: the most important of them was the play “We Are the Youth” and the play “The Wooden Legs Exhibition”, which achieved first place in the University Theater Festival - Jazan in December 2020 AD and three awards in the Zarqa Arab Theater Festival - Jordan in September 2021 AD and the award for best acting in the International Forum for University Theater - Cairo, October 2022 AD
• Production of short films: The club produced a number of short films that sought, through their contents, to address students’ issues during the Corona crisis, and films on national occasions, including the movie “Al-Fajr Al-Sadiq”
• Training workshops: In line with the vision and mission of the club in spreading theatrical culture and refining students' talents, the club holds a number of workshops and meetings every semester in cooperation with theater and film experts from the local community, for example:
•  Workshop on the use of drama in education, school theater and children's theater (1)
