Zeinab Ahmed Elmoghazyi, Assistant professor of Architecture at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, obtained a Ph.D. from Cairo University, Egypt, and a Masters and undergraduate degree from the University of Ain-Shams, Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Zeinab is interested in Architectural Design, Architectural theories and Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3dsMAX presentation.
Her Ph.D. work was under the title of “The Transformation from Deconstructivism to the Emerging Iconic Neo –Organic Architecture” in 2012, discussing the influence of Deconstruction on developing and changing contemporary architectural thinking and theorizing the contemporary trends in architecture. The research included the analysis of other many approaches that influenced contemporary architecture and many case studies concluding the main features that are dominant in what the research coins as “Neo-organic Architecture”.
Her Master's title was “The Meaning of Deconstruction in Architecture” 1999-2002, discussing the prevailing trend of Deconstruction, its beginnings as a philosophical theory, its pioneers in architecture, its features, and tools, criticizing and analyzing its outcome buildings.
