Dalia Hussein Eldardiry
Dalia Hussein Eldardiry, associate professor in Interior Design Department, College of Design, University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia, obtained her PhD from the Architectural Department, College of Engineering / Shebin Elkom, Alminofia University, her MSc from the environmental studies department, university of Alexandria, and her undergraduate degree from the Architectural Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, at university of Alexandria at Egypt. Her PhD work was on the urban management of the new towns in Egypt. She has worked for various urban planning and landscape architecture offices in Egypt.
She has been teaching interior architecture for the past eleven years. Some of the courses taught include architectural and interior design studios, production drawings, building construction methods, history of architecture and arts, freehand sketching, presentation techniques, costs & managements, and professional practice & documents.
She has been active in researches on the urban planning and urban design aspects of the city. She has attended numerous conferences and seminars on various topics. She has published numerous papers and articles
She was the chairman of the academic Affairs, in college of architectural & planning, king Feisal University, for several years. Also, she was the academic coordinator for college of design, university of Dammam. Now she is the chairman of the academic affairs in college of design, university of Dammam, KSA. In addition she is the E-learning coordination for college of design. Her special interests are urban design and urban planning.
