TabsSummaryAbeer Al-Lahham is an associate professor at the College of Architecture & Planning and the College of Design, University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Masters in Urban Design from the University of Jordan, and a Ph.D. from the UK. She attended several local and international conferences and delivered several lectures in many institutions and universities. She has several published articles in the fields of architectural theory, housing, urban planning, and in Islamic built environment as compared to contemporary ones. Currently, Al-Lahham is a member of the Technical Team of Scientific Editing, Ministry of Higher Education, working on the Third Expansion of the Holy Mosque in Mecca and on the development project of Mecca and the Holy Mashaer area, Saudi Arabia.
