TabsOverviewThe MA program in the History Department was launched in the academic year 1404 H. To date, 44 students have enrolled in the program and 24 were awarded the MA degree. The PhD program in the History Department was launched in the academic year 1410 H. with 25 students, and so far 20 students have been awarded the PhD degree. However, the program remained undeveloped since its launch. The University is one of 10 public universities that award the MA degree in History, out of the 24 public universities in the kingdom. The MA program in History is fundamental to the University as it achieves its mission to produce enlightened graduates who are capable of conducting a wide range of research studies and who are highly trained to solve problems by means of the diverse studies the program offers.Currently, there are 12 programs awarding the BA degree in History in the kingdom whose graduates can work in research and media centers and in academic institutions.
