TabsSummarySaad A. Iqbal is an Architect graduated from the Department of Architecture at the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan. After graduating, he joined as a Lecturer and subsequently earned a master’s degree in architecture from the same institute. His undergraduate and graduate level research focused on a hospice design for terminally ill patients and design recommendations for improving the outdoor spaces in hospitals in Lahore-Pakistan, respectively. After moving to Saudi-Arabia, he joined the Department of Landscape Architecture at IAU as a Lecturer in 2017 and has since been involved in teaching as well as accreditation related work for the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture Program as the Quality Coordinator. With a growing interest in nature, landscape and wellbeing, his research interests include multidisciplinary aspects such as healing spaces, therapeutic landscapes, outdoor learning spaces and urban open spaces to name a few.
