Summary

Mashal is a Lecturer at the Department of Landscape Architecture holding a master’s degree in landscape architecture planning from the University of Arizona with focus into arid landscape solutions. He became an officer representative for the Department of Landscape Architecture for Arizona chapter at the American Society of Landscape Architecture. Mashal interested in theories and techniques water-harvesting varies landscape projects, which lead him to pursue his PhD right now at the University of Liverpool. His research is focusing on the potential of urban green infrastructure for enhancing urban livability and quality of life in line with the Saudi Vision 2030. Mashal is looking precisely at the interconnection between users and landscapes within the urban boundary in an arid, hot-humid climate.
