TabsSummaryFrom 2008, Dr Tareq has been an assistant professor with the Department of Landscape Architecture, the University of Dammam, teaching variety of courses in landscape design, plants, irrigation design, ecology, and ecosystems management, etc. From 2009 he has become vice dean for Academic Affairs and Chairman of the Landscape Architecture Department in the College of Architecture and Planning. He is the author of one book and tens of scientific papers and articles. From 2019 he is an associate professor of landscape architecture. His research interests include sustainability and sustainable development, Landscape and environmental assessment, urban design, rehabilitation of historical and environmentally affected sites, environmental resources conservation and management, wild plants utilization in beautification and landscaping, green infrastructure, and resilience of urban and natural ecosystems.
