Committee Tasks
- Following up the teaching loads in the university’s colleges and prepare reports on the teaching performance of each college.
- Proposing appropriate solutions to benefit from the services of faculty members in the colleges, deanships and departments of the university to cover the educational needs.
- Supervising the development of an electronic system to identify and monitor teaching loads in all colleges and academic units.
- Recommendation regarding recruitment requests received from colleges according to the teaching, research and administrative burdens.
- Studying requests for the contract renewal, termination or resigning of faculty members.
- Developing the processes, standards and controls for recruiting faculty members by benefiting from successful experiences locally and internationally.
- Proposing mechanisms and programs to retain faculty members.
- Studying requests for calculating study units equivalent to the work of academic and research committees and units.
- Considering requests for assistance from collaborators from outside the university to cover the teaching needs according to the needs.
- Studying the requests for assignment of extra hours and making recommendations regarding them.
- Forming sub -committees from the committee members or from others to carry out some tasks related to the committee's competencies.
- Studying what is referred to the committee from the university president.
