Course Description
The course of “Research methods” introduces students to basic qualitative and quantitative research methods that support the field of design, interior design and architecture in particular. Through this course, students will gain the essential theoretical and practical research skills that enable them to design and conduct meaningful scientific researches. The course will develop each student’s capability to identify research problems, select the most appropriate research methodology, perform data gathering and analysis techniques, and finally write and present her research. The course will also improve students writing, communication, and rational argumentation skills. That will prepare student to the Senior Project Research course. The course will be delivered through adopting a Team Building Learning (TBL) approach.
