Websites Management

Course Main Objective

This course deals with the basic concepts of the website development and management and mechanism to deal with the Hyper Text Markup Language “HTML” and the Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language “DHTML” along with explaining mechanism of website creation and development using WordPress and further website management and basics of their assessment.

• 1.1 Explain the essential terms and concepts of website development and management, characteristics of the internet environment and working team and the advantages of a good website and its development.

• 2.1  Apply website design and management using different languages of design.
• 2.2 Use communication and information technology in communication, uploading assignments and discussion management.

• 3.1 Bear individual and collective responsibility in work.

Course Content:

• Basic concepts of website development and management.
• Dealing with HTML (Hyperlink Text).
• Controlling fonts regarding their color, type, place, tags of paragraphs, page arrangement and formatting, tags of quoted paragraphs.
• Lists, lists of description, images and drawings and how to deal with.
• Hyperlinks, tables
• Frames, images and drawings, image maps, forms.
• How to deal with the Dynamic Hypertext Markup Language “DHTML”.
• Website creation and development using WordPress.
• Website management, assessment basics and standards of websites.
