Course Main Objective
The main objective of course is to: Deal with the content and philosophy of Social Geography and differentiate among the geographic factors that affect individuals' behaviors and characteristics and diversity of their societies; highlight role of geography in studying social problems of geographic dimension and hence achieving sustainability which means ensuring that humans obtain development opportunities without disregard the right of future generations and link among natural regions and their relation to the current communities.
Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
- 1.1 Define social geography and its old branches (housing and population) and the most important approaches and define the most important societies related to the environment and lifestyle.
- 2. Skills
- 2.1 Differentiate human behaviors in dealing with and investing natural resources and the environmental problems resulted from relationship between human and environment.
- 3. Values
- 3.1 Appreciate teamwork and bear responsibility.

- Natural regions and their relation to the current communities.

- An applied model on social geography.
