Course Main Objective
The main objective of course is to learn about the atmosphere and its main elements and how they are measured, processed and distributed to the earth surface; to know the conventional and automatic meteorological instruments and the typical distribution of weather and climate phenomena and to understand the global climate change and enumerate its phenomena nationally, regionally and globally.
Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
- 1.1 Define the basic concepts and terms of weather and climate and their branches and elements.
- 2. Skills
- 2.1 Explain reason beyond origin of weather phenomena and their classification including thunderstorms, squalls or dust squalls, humidity, fog, moisture, frost, hail and rains and other climate issues and their reasons and how to reduce them.
- 2.2 Use computer in presentations, research and skills.
- 3. Values
- 3.1 Appreciate the importance of cooperation among working team in assessing climate problems and setting out reasons beyond and effects and how to reduce them.
