Course Description
This course examines the role and function of computerized accounting information systems in processing business transactions and storing accounting data necessary for planning, decision-making and control of organizations. It deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of analyzing, designing and implementing a new accounting information system, including the design and management of databases and evaluation of internal control in both manual and electronic systems.
