The University of Dammam placed 2nd out of 44 public and private Saudi universities in the Saudi Universities Sports Federation. During the awards ceremony in Riyadh, which was attended by Dr. Azzam Al Dkhil, the Minister of Education, UoD’s President, Dr. Abdullah M. Al Rubaish was presented with the 2nd place trophy and a check for 500,000 SR. Dr. Al Rubaish stated that, “To be ranked second out of all Saudi Universities was the result of continuous hard work carried out by dedicated students, faculty and staff and in particular the Deanship of Student Affairs.
With the grace of God, UoD will continue to be successful not only in the area of athletics, but in research and academics due to the dedication of the University’s administrative and student leaders whose continuous efforts and devotion will develop UoD’s students’ talents in the areas of athletics, science and education.
