In an educational event that was held by the Public Relations Unit in the Deanship of University Studies in cooperation with King Fahad University Hospital Dr. Dalal Al Tamimi inaugurated the Sunshine Vitamin exhibition in order to introduce and educate attendees concerning Vitamin D and its importance our daily life. The event was attended by UoD faculty members and it was held on Tuesday, Jumada II 13, 1437 H – March 22, 2016 in the Conference Hall in the University City where around 500 people attended the event.
The meeting was advertised by sending messages through social media programs, the message consisted of false concepts which were corrected during the event’s lecture. The lecture was given by Dr. Waleed Al-Baker, chair of the Internal Medicine Department and an Endocrinology Consultant in King Fahad University Hospital.
The event included Osteoporosis examination booths, a Dental Health booth as well as other related issues.
