The Deanship of Graduate Studies announces the Scientific Publishing Initiative for graduate students

The Deanship of Graduate Studies is pleased to announce the launch of the Scientific Publishing Initiative for Graduate Students as follows:

1. Scientific publication reward according to the classification of the scientific publishing journal :

2. In addition to the possibility of obtaining a discount of (10%) of the total tuition fees for the program in which the student is enrolled for each published scientific paper, the published scientific paper is counted for one person, who is the principal researcher.

Graduate Student Scientific Publishing Initiative

• Reward Eligibility Conditions:

1. The student must be enrolled in one of the university’s graduate programs based on the student records system.
2. The student must be the primary publisher in the study.
3. The published scientific paper must be Extract  by the topic of the academic thesis.
4. The scientific publication reward is distributed after the student has completed the scientific publication, and the student has the right to submit a request to be eligible for the reward , provided that the student is in the study phase and before graduating from the graduate studies program, as follows:

1. If the student finishes scientific publication before graduation, the student has the right to apply for a discount of (10%) of the total tuition fees for the program the student is enrolled in for each published scientific paper, and the published scientific paper is counted for one person, who is the principal researcher.
2. Proof of scientific publication must be attached to the application for the scientific publication reward, or to obtain a discount (10%) of the total tuition fees.
3. Attach the classification of the scientific journal from the website of the University Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation.

• Process of applying for the initiative:

1. The student fills out the attached form.
2. The student submits the reward request form to the academic supervisor.
3. After completing the form, it will be submitted to the Head of the Scientific Department.
4. The Head of the Academic Department submits the request to the Dean of the College.
5. After completing the application, the Dean of the College shall submit the application to the Dean of the Deanship of Graduate Studies.

The scientific publication reward is approved by the Supervisory Committee for Administrative and Financial Affairs for Graduate Studies and Medical Fellowships Programs.
