Dr. Firyal Al Qahtani, Dr. Maha Al Madni the Vice Dean of Quality and Mr. Mohamed Al Faris the Financial Affairs Director in the College of Nursing in the University of Dammam show cased on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 the future plans of the College for the second semester as well as the particular plans of each vice deanship, also they displayed the framework of the units. This forum was attended by Dr. Elham Al Ateeq Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Mohamed Hijazi Musharaf the General Supervisor of Quality and Academic Accreditation and the Consultant of the College as well as all the staff members. The event was organized by the College of Nursing and was attended by 100 of its staff members. The event is an annual occasion which is held to celebrate those who gained higher degrees. The event was held in the Main Conference hall in building number 11 in the University.

The Dean of the College of Nursing in the University of Dammam Dr. Elham Al Ateeq honored the doctors who have gained higher certificates in a number of specializations. Dr. Firyal Al Qahtani was honored for gaining her doctorates degree in Community Health which she received from Swansea University in the United Kingdom, Dr. Reem Al Dossary for gaining her doctorate in Nursing Management from George Mason University in the United States, and Dr. Reema Al Garni for gaining her doctorate in Critical situations from the University of Manchester in England. Finally, Dr. Mohamed Hijazi Musharaf the Consultant of the College honored Dr. Adel Al Abdali for gaining his master’s degree in Nursing Management. Dr. Elham Al Ateeq Dean of the College honored all the doctors who achieved higher degrees where she pointed out that it is a great pride for the College and its members and the success of one member is as the success of the whole College. Also, they discussed what the College has provided in the previous semester and its future strategic plans because the College aims at becoming a leading College in the academic field of Nursing in order to graduate a generation of Nurses who are highly educated and competent.
