Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) congratulates the College of Engineering and the College of Computer Science and Information Technology for getting accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology), the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. After the onsite review conducted by ABET commissions, in December 2017, the results of the review where released on 11 Sept 2018. The undergraduate programs in the College of Engineering that were accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET: Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering programs and the undergraduate programs in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology that were accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET: the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science programs.
ABET accreditation assures that programs meet standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies and anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.
The management congratulates the Dean, students, faculty, staff and all the supporting deanships for their hard work and efforts in achieving this milestone.
