The Deanship of Academic Development and the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Learning launched a series entitled (Insights in Higher Education). The series includes several interviews with higher education experts on topics addressed to faculty members and people interested in higher education.
The first interview featured the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ghazi A. Al-Otaibi, on: Academic Quality in University Education. The interview tackles frequently asked questions in the academic community, including:
- How does a faculty member affect the quality of a university's education system?
- Are the quality requirements and procedures realistic – what is being applied in the classroom?
- Do quality requirements conflict with academic freedom?
- What is Saudi Arabia's higher educations' quality of education level in compared to that of other regional and global educational systems?
