Dr. Pasi Kaskinen, Executive Vice President, Finland University, visited the Deanship of Academic Development at Imam Abdulrahaman bin Faisal University on May 8th, 2018. The visit began with a briefing about the Deanship’s efforts and achievements. Insights were given to different projects, workshops, forums and other teaching and the Deanship's learning initiatives. Dr. Kaskinen shared his experience concerning the ways in which they manage and develop the faculty education in Finland. He also shared the teaching and learning opportunities and prospects of Higher Education of Finland.
Dr. Kaskinen met with Dr. Ghazi Abdulrahman Alotaibi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, and they signed a contract under which a team of Finnish experts will visit IAU and deliver professional development workshops to the faculty of Imam Abdulrahaman bin Faisal University. In addition, other topics were discussed including academic exchange programs for faculty members and students within the two universities.
