The "Ramadan Culture" event highlights the religious, health, and social dimensions of the holy month.

The Culture and Arts Unit at the College of Arts, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, organized an event titled "Ramadan Culture" to highlight the religious, health, and social dimensions of the holy month. The event was attended by the esteemed Dean of the College, Dr. Mashael Al Okaly, along with university faculty members, students, and a distinguished group of academics, including Dr. Fatimah Al-Kalthamfrom the College of Sharia and Law, Dr. Youssef Al-Qurashi from the College of Applied Medical Sciences, and Dr. Omaima Al-Maghrabi from the College of Arts. The session was moderated by the Head of the Unit, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sulaiman.

In her talk titled "Breezes of Goodness," Dr. Fatimah Al-Kaltham explored the religious aspect of Ramadan, emphasizing its spiritual values, its role in self-purification, and the impact of worship in strengthening one's connection with God.

Meanwhile, Dr. Youssef Al-Qurashi, in his presentation "Ramadan and Sleep: Between Spirituality and Health," addressed key topics such as sleep physiology, the impact of Ramadan on biological sleep rhythms, behavioral changes affecting sleep during Ramadan, and recommendations for improving sleep quality during the month.

Dr. Omaima Al-Maghrabi, in her talk "Ramadan: A Golden Opportunity for Change," discussed various aspects of personal transformation, including its definition, types, indicators of its necessity, causes, and methodologies for effective change.

It is worth noting that this event is part of the ongoing efforts of the Culture and Arts Unit to promote cultural and social awareness, while also highlighting the values and traditions associated with the blessed month of Ramadan.
