المركز السعودي لاعتماد المنشآت الصحية يجدد اعتماد مستشفى الملك فهد الجامعي بالخبر لثلاثة أعوام بعد إحرازه نسبة 93.5%
The Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) has reaccredited King Fahad Hospital of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University for another (3) years. CBAHI reaccreditation of KFHU is an achievement that bears witness to the hospital’s adherence to quality and safety standards. It also affirms the endeavors by the hospital to unceasing improvement and maintenance of quality in health and safety in both administrative and care services, for the protection of all who call at the institution as patients, visitors or even as employees.
The president of IAU, KFHU Supervisor General, Dr. Abdullah Alrubaish congratulated the hospital administration, staff, medical and administrative teams, and support cadres for this achievement, which bears testimony to their adherence to the values of quality and safety enshrined in the mission and vision of KFHU. The hospital (KFHU), has previously been awarded many international accreditations to demonstrate the compliance of the institution with quality outcomes in all aspects of administrative and health matters ensuring the integration of excellence in healthcare, patient satisfaction, and all performance indicators. The international accreditations achieved by KFHU include the famous accreditation of JCI (Joint Commission International) and that of CAP (College of American Pathologists).
KFHU Director-General, Dr. Muhammed Alshahrani, added that “CBAHI’s award of this accreditation, a supremely important national accreditation is an indication that the acquisition of the previous professional accreditations by KFHU were entirely merited as the focus of CBAHI, the official agency authorized to grant accreditation certificates to all governmental and private healthcare facilities operating today in Saudi Arabia, are the three major standards: Structure, Activity and procedural and Outcome.’’
Meanwhile, KFHU Directorate of Quality and Safety, Director, Dr. Ahmed Alkuwaiti affirmed that the achievement is the result of the hard work of the hospital administration under the leadership of the supervisor general of KFHU and the chairmanship of IAU.
