Course Description
The course deals with the principles that control the Saudi work system. This is achieved by introducing a legal analysis for labor contracts, labors duties and rights and ways for settling their disputes. Further, the course introduces the civil service system, rules for employment: hiring, training, studying abroad, termination.
Course Aims
- Introducing students to work system’s conditions in both public and private sectors in KSA.
- Developing students’ understanding of work environment in KSA.
- Developing students’ ability to analyze work contracts from a legal perspective.
- Introducing students to work principles.
- Developing students’ ability to apply this theoretical knowledge to real life.
