Organic contaminants: dyes, pharmaceuticals, pesticides and insecticides- Inorganic contaminants: nitrates, sulphates, fluorides, cyanides - Metallic contaminants : heavy metals, chromium, lead, mercury - Industrial and domestic wastewater treatment plants - Biological treatment, oxidation processes and membrane technologies.
