Course Main Objective
The course aims to enable student to define the concept of journal article and its types; highlight the aims of journal article and connect between the elements of journal article and its domains; explain methods of writing the article; deduct role of the article in commenting on current events.
Course Learning Outcomes
- 1. Knowledge and Comprehension
- 1.1 Define topics and domains of the article and its divisions and types as well as its role in social and daily life and its methods of writing, aims and functions.
- 2. Skills
- 2.1 Deduct aims of writing the article and how to use it in social development and judge the current events, give opinion and give preference of such ideas proposed in such articles.
- 2.2 Be able to use electronic and paper IT and how to analyze to make use of it in writing different types of journal articles.
- 3. Values
- 3.1 Present feedback on methods and strategies of assessment and stimulation to work within a teamwork and growth of dialogue, discussion and positive disagreement among students.

- Elements of journal article and its topics and domains.
- Principles of writing the journal article
- Role of the article in explaining and interpreting the current events.
- Role of the article in presenting a new idea from public opinion issues.
- Employing the journal article.
- Methods of writing the journal article.
- Practical exercises on writing the journal article.
