Course Description
The Production Drawing and Documents course addresses the importance of the methods and processes involved in developing permit and construction drawings for an interior architecture project. The course guides students from the preliminary to the final stages required in the compilation of the detailed working drawings required for any construction project. This course will cover all stages and phases of a project. The course will also introduce the students to the drafting skills required in architectural drafting procedures and will guide the students in executing drawings in a professional manner. Emphasis will be placed on the use of specifications, such as symbols, numbering, reference and order of various drawing collections. In addition, the course will discuss specifications regarding interior architectural elements along with furniture, construction, sanitary, mechanical and electrical works.
