Course Description
This is an introductory management course that tries to stimulate the student to develop a basic understanding of management concepts, theories, practices and its techniques. The course is designed to present an overview of the major functions of management including planning, organizing, decision making, leading and controlling.
Learning Outcomes
1. To understand what management is and who are managers.
2. To define and explain basic management functions.
3. To learn the art of decision-making and teamwork.
4. To understand the planning, organizing, leading and controlling processes and techniques.
5. To understand and continuously explore contemporary global management practices within the diverse environments particularly in the Arab world.
