Course Description
This course provides students with an understanding of the legal issues in business. Students are introduced to legal rules and court decisions affecting businesses. Students will be introduced to the working of the court systems, the issues of evidence, the psychological and sociological aspects of the law. Particular attention is given to the law governing contracts which is the backbone of any business.

- Define all elements of a contract
- List all defenses of buyers and sellers in various contractual disputes.
- Name the fundamental weaknesses and strengths of various business organizations.
- Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the legal system and its possible resolutions.
- Explain legal and psychological analysis to possible fraudulent claims that can arise in a business organization.
- Devise a plan for a business in which the managers can minimize legal claims against it.
