Course Description
The Mathematics 2 course reinforces basic math skills, which are widely used in calculus. These skills encompass the ability to solve mathematical problems, analyze and interpret data. The purpose of this course is to develop the comprehension of the course material in English, improve their skills and demonstrate their ability to figure out and write solutions with logical steps and prepare the students for calculus. An emphasis will be given to the understanding of the statement of the problem along with mathematical terminology. The course will develop the critical thinking skills among the students through familiar mathematical concepts. Topics will include trigonometric functions, topics in analytic geometry, systems of equations, matrices, introduction to differentiation and integration and their applications.
