Course Description
This course provides the student with the concept of knowledge management and the systems that enable the engineer to acquire, store, distribute and process knowledge. Knowledge will be defined as well as the types of knowledge that exist. Understanding how systems think is integral to understanding and managing knowledge. Other topics that will be discussed include: economic issues, acquiring, storing, distributing and processing knowledge.
