Course Description
This course is designed to allow students to explore engineering through case studies, and problem-solving using computers. Students will learn about the various aspects of the engineering profession and acquire both technical skills and non-technical skills. The course topics include: Engineering profession, computer applications and programming related to engineering. Broad overview of the different fields of engineering, including professional societies and their student chapters, professional licensing and registration, professional codes of ethics, the elements of engineering design, and the scope of analysis and design activities.
