Course Description
This course is designed to enable the student to identify good imaging skills through analysis of X-ray images. It familiarizes students with the principles of medical imaging, processing principles and factors that affect image interpretation. Students will be able to apply this knowledge to produce medical images and assess image quality. Included are the importance of minimum imaging standards, discussion of a problem-solving technique for image evaluation and factors affecting image quality. Actual images will be used for analysis.
