Course Description
This course builds upon the student’s background gained in computer programming course (2102-212). It presents an advanced view of computer programming, mainly using object oriented programming. The course topics include: Introducing the fundamental ideas behind the object-oriented approach to programming; through a computer programming language (e.g C++, Java or Visual Basic). Concentrating on aspects that best demonstrate object-oriented principles and good practice, student will gain a solid basis for further study of object-oriented software development. Student will need to have experience of writing small computer programs, such as that gained through prior study of 2102-202.
