The Risk Management Department was established as one of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation directorates to cater for risk management at IAU. The directorate coordinates with security and safety directorate on monitoring and reporting safety issues and conduct a joint root cause analysis to identify opportunities of improvement whilst creating a mechanism for implementation of risk management procedures across university colleges, directorates, and centres. To achieve its goal the Risk Management directorate has established a documented risk management process for each college or administrative unit through (Hemaya) Application.
