On Thursday, March 10, 2016 the Community College’s Women’s National Day event ended with an estimate number of 750 participants. The event was organized by the Vice Deanship of Activity Affairs in the Community College in Dammam in cooperation with the Social Protection Unit from the Ministry of Social Affairs. It was held in the college’s foyer.
Dr. Fawziah Al Shimmary the coordinator of the event mentioned that “because women matter, the Community College in Dammam was keen on organizing this event where we provided 5 booths that concern a woman’s everyday life, the title of the booths were; the Social, Psychological, Future, and Cultural booth as well as a booth titled “Discover your Inner Self”. The attendees varied from students to faculty and administrative members as well as parents of the college’s students. The main theme of the booths was the most important awareness aspects for women.
