Course Description
The following topics will be addressed: chemistry and mode of action of drugs acting on the central nervous system (analgesics, anaesthetics, psychotropic drugs, antiepileptics, antiparkinsonism, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antihistaminic, local anesthetic agents), hormones (prostaglandins, steroidal and non-steroidal hormones, adrenocorticoids), oral hypoglycemics and antithyroid drugs; drug design for related drugs.
