Course Description

Behavioral science is designed to provide paramedics with the foundational knowledge and interpersonal skills. This course provides an introduction to the psychological /behavioral and social components of health illnesses with focus on the theoretical and practical basis for understanding human behavior and cognitions, as-well as complexities of relationships between doctors, health care providers, patients, their families, their communities and health care issues.
